Brought a tv 0JKV3HKTA00394V from samsung. The first thing I noticed one remote was missing, as there are supposed to be 2 and 3 months on still waiting for the remote. After 5 weeks of having the TV, It has a horizontal and vertical lines on it. In total 18 calls made and hours spent on the phone and no resolution. A repair was arranged but then i was advised by the contractors that the tv needs the whole screen replaced and it will take time as the repair needs to be done at my home therefore have to take time off from work. I queried if it can be replaced instead, the contractor said they can put in the request to samsung and see what they say. Instead I got an email from samsung later that the repair has been done and matter resolved. Therefore, phoned samsung today and Neil in India who told me that product replacement is only in the first 3 weeks and now only a repair can happen. Completely and unterly a useless person.
He then transferred me to Tony, samsung warranty uk who advised that there is no such thing as product replacement because samsung only do repairs. Tony admitted the even if mistakes were made by samsung, they canot be held responsible for any inconvenience or loss of earnings. He then said he will arrange another repair but for how long my warranty was i need to be transfered to samsung customer serves. Spoke to a female in india, checked my promotional 5 years warranty amd told me it was only 12 months as I failed to register the product in the first 90 days when the product sas ordered, not when it was delivered. I raised this issue, regarding the warranty when I brought the TV and was asked to register the product online on my Samsung account, which I did but apparently this is another form of registration and has nothing to do with the extended promtional warranty. Can not understand any words from samsung staff in India as they have their own English which I canot understand, you get passed from one person to the next and all they do is apologise for their collegeues mistakes, and a really hypocritical and sarcastic way to dehumanise you. No empathy, no call back from managers, they admit making mistakes and even if you are out of pocket or have suffered a financial loss, they will not address that, because it is NOT COMPANY POLICY. How can a company this pathetic and vile operate in the UK.
