My Samsung washer, a standard model without a lot of bells and whistles, operated fine for 9 years. One day the washer basket overflowed flooding the house. Called Samsung Customer Service, explained the problem. They said they had some similar problems with that model. They transferred me to the recall department. Recall department said they would cover the repair, gave me a ticket number, and transferred me to their Samsung Repair Company, Service Quick.
Service Quick said the earliest they would be in my area would be in 6 days. They scheduled an appointment for that future day and said we would receive a call the day of service to set the time. In the meantime we received calls and texts confirming the day of service, including a call the day of service. No call was received by 2:00pm so we called Service Quick and were told we would get a call by 6:00pm for service the same day/evening. 5:00pm recalled Service Quick and was told we would receive a call by 6:00om and that Samsung did not approve the recall!
Needless to say, we never received a call from the service tech. Our calls to Service Quick went unanswered.
This morning we called Service Quick and asked for an explanation about no show/no call yesterday. Was told the service tech didn’t have the repair part on the truck and didn’t know why he didn’t call us. By some miracle the part just came in and he can come out in a week from now! ( To me the miracle is how do they know what part is needed since they never seen the machine?)
What a bunch of liars. In my case, service is non existent.
