I am having a Samsung galaxy phone. After the last software update, a bright green line came across the screen . When I contacted the service centre , first they said screen need to be replaced with a charge of Rs.6800 as the warranty is expired. I told them that it was their software UPDATE caused the issue and for that why should I pay . On escalation of the issue they asked me to upload photos of different internal parts to verify there was no physical damage by water or fall. This has done in an authorised Samsung service centre and I paid Rs.177 as inspection charge. The service centre people uploaded the photos and informed me that there was no physical damage. But now also the supervisor desk say that there is no widespread complaint of this particular model (M52) wherein software update can cause this line issue and hence they cannot replace the screen without charge. I feel like I am cheated by these Samsung people. Is there anyway for remedial action. Now it developed second line. I wish I would not have made software update though it supplied by Samsung.
