Five carpets ordered early August, paid for in full. Expected fitting date was 10th Sept, which came and went without contact. Each week we were told "I promise it will be next week" but they never called and we would have to chase.
Finally three carpets came in and we were told we could have those ones fitted, as we'd now been without carpet for several weeks. However instead of arranging it the store manager called and said we had to wait, you guessed it, "one more week" and he "promised" the other carpets would be in. They weren't. He eventually agreed to a split fitting.
Another three weeks of "just one more week" from the store manager, along with some very poor behaviour from said store manager. We finally emailed to say relations had broken down and we would be approaching our bank for a Section 75 charge back as they refused to refund and had not supplied the goods.
We were then referred to a head office complaints resolver. She admitted the final carpet had only just been made and should be ready for ir transport from Belgium. The carpet which the store manager had said "was refused because it wasn't in its full shipment and had been sent back to the North Sea" was magically found. Within 10 days all the missing carpet was installed, although not the tidiest.
It was an awful mess, caused a lot of stress and until Head Office got involved we didn't get any where. Extremely unhappy at spending more than two months without carpets, being constantly lied to by an over friendly manager and having to constantly contact SCS.
I would advise everyone to buy elsewhere. SCS are shoddy scam artists and if they think they can get one over on you they will.
