I ordered a carpet in October 2020 it was due to be delivered and fitted on 12 November the carpet fitter failed to walk to the front door just shouted from the back gate then drove away. I arranged another fitting, they didn’t turn up finally in the December someone came and ‘fit’ the carpet. It was not flush to the stairs, I complained in writing no response. After hours on hold over various days I went into the local store. I man claiming to be the manager arranged a refit and said he’d call me. No call, I went to the store again and met the manager not the boy pretending to be the manager. 3 months later the carpet was refit, again it was not flush and this time it was fraying in the corners and cut too small in places. After an online inspection a replacement carpet was ordered, it was fit too short and fraying again. Finally this year the carpet was replaced for the second time it’s still not perfect. The customer service has been appalling I’ve had to chase at every stage. Calls weren’t returned, the 2nd inspection report was 6 weeks late and I have not received a call to see if the latest carpet is ok.
