If there was a minus 1 that is what SCS would get. In store they are very nice but one they have your order and your money that is where the pleasantries end.
I bought a very expensive sofa and chair and while still under guarantee the padding on the sofa arm as shifted. I rang SCS and admittedly they sent someone out within a week to assess. The miserable man who came out took photos and measurements and stuff and only spoke if I spoke to him. He miserably agreed the padding had shifted and said his report goes to another team who come out to fix it. That was the last I heard so I rang the so called Customer Service and they asked me if I was happy with what had been done! I said nothing has been done! To cut a long story short they told me the padding had shifted due to accidental damage and therefore they wont be doing anything. I asked what they though caused this so called accident and they said putting arms on the arm rest! Beggars belief doesn't it? They told me there is no appeal, no manager to speak with and that is that and I will get a letter explain the technicians findings. I told them I will not leave it like this and the conversation ended. I indeed did get a letter off them a few days later, all two lines and spelling mistakes! My intention now is trading standards and small claims court. I will not let this drop. If anyone reading this is thinking of getting a sofa from SCS I beg you not to. You will get rubbish and throw your money away. SCS are probably one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with and reading reviews it appears I'm not alone!
