Absolute shambles!
WE ordered a LaziBoy 2+1 corner suite and a chair over 15 weeks ago from the Bedford store. Come the delivery day (late!), we cleared the room and got rid of our old furniture, as instructed by SCS. The delivery van turned up, but only had the seat bases of the corner suite (no sofa backs , making it un-useable), and no chair. We rejected the delivery as it was incomplete (We'd been fooled by SCS before....Once you accept delivery of a partial suite it can take weeks to get the remaining parts). We had no furniture, and as my wife had just had major surgery it was extremely uncomfortable for her to sit on the floor. We went to the store and spoke to the manager James Pickard. After a few phone calls he gave us his promise that a new team would deliver the furniture the following day. So, the next delivery turned up (VERY late...about 9PM), and all they had was a 1+1 corner suite (not a 2+1), but still no chair. So, we rejected it again. SCS had messed up with our orders previously, so we decided to just go elsewhere. After further (email) conversations and a phone conversation with James he stated "I'm NOT giving you a refund!". We have had to order a new suite from a proper sofa company and have left the matter of the £1600.00 deposit refund in the hands of the credit card company. Believe me, this is a very much shortened version of the entire debacle. The whole experience is one we never want to repeat. All emails were forwarded to customer services for their response on the matter, but so far it appears they can't be bothered with any of it. I have never had such poor service, or total apathy from a company's "Customer services". We will never use SCS again. They have had far too many chances from us, and have failed over and over and over again.
