Recently purchased furniture from Sofology, my husband itched and my reaction was much worse with coughing, burning skin, red eyes and flu symptoms, I could not sit on it at all. All attempts to get rid of the strong chemical odour failed and I had to shut my lounge off. Luckily I have no young children! After much complaining ( the fabric didn’t match either ) I did get a refund and the furniture removed . Apparently you have a 30 day cooling off period by law and can demand a refund if it’s not fit for purpose, also the trading standards and ombudsman can help you , SCS may pay attention if you say you will take the matter to them! Good luck, it’s no joke, it will have been sprayed with something toxic on its way to you!
