Originally bought sofas in 2012 and they developed scuffs which SCS agreed were manufacturing faults.
As damage occurred within warranty we were able to replace with another set of sofas and pay the difference.
Delivery drivers scuffed the new sofas (made no attempt to bring the sofas in carefully). They then took back the new sofas as well as our old ones due to damage.
Leicester branch manager said he would place an order for a new set of sofas to replace the ones damaged by delivery team. I also asked to have the new damaged sofas returned while we waited for 3 months.
3 months passed and no update. I called to follow up and SCS advised there was no order on the system.
The Leicester manager falsified his records to make it look like we were at fault.
In the end we were left with the damaged sofas as they had stopped manufacturing that type of sofa. They offered other sofas but they did not match colour or style.
Now the new sofas are beginning to scuff. Others who purchased from SCS experienced the same issue with scuffing of sofas. We have no pets or children so I cannot see why the sofas are beginning to degrade.
