Ordered two electric chairs and one settee,was verbally told it would £3,500 i was pleased with price as we had been to other stores and was quoted double and said at the time,so placed the order,paid a large deposit and the rest on 0 % finance.The manager went away to do the paperwork on returning read from the paperwork the order, two chairs and one two seater settee,turned the paperwork over for me to sign which my mistake I signed but didn’t look at the front page,took the paperwork home filed it away. On delivery of the furniture I was given a box (cleaning kit )and on checking my paperwork a cleaning kit, a fabric charge and insurance had been added on the same page the furniture was written on but I was not asked if if wanted these items which cost £300,I have email & rung head office numerous times and the story ends just to be told that I was never charged for these items as I had had a reduction on the furniture !! So really I didn’t have the reduction just on the furniture that I thought I had everything was totalled up including the insurance etc and the original furniture was added together not the sale price . As others has said the insurance cover is not worth it,and to have items put on my bill without being asked if I wanted them is wrong. SCS are saying I did not pay for the extras?because of the discount ! So what discount was I given !!!! Not even told there was a delivery charge too!!!!!£79 I’ve never bought from SCS before and never Will again Also ordered arm cover the 3rd Dec still not received paid £170 fir two sets
