Ordered a sofa and two chairs on 28/6/20.
We were told it had a twelve week delivery time.
All we got at the time in the way of paperwork was a receipt slip for payment.
We contacted them on 15/7/20 and asked when we’d be receiving their terms and conditions.
They then emailed the terms and conditions the same day, stating that they’d sent them before and advised us to look in our junk file folder, which we did but nothing had been sent their either.
When reading their terms and conditions,
lo and behold the seven and fourteen day amending and cancellation deadlines had expired.
I feel this is sharp practise and would be interested to know how often this happens to other customers.
