Faulty livingroom carpet, line across width and 18" shade difference. Carpet fitter said "line would fade" It never and still hasn't. Contacted SCS to complain with photos ect manufacturer agreed to replacement carpet free of charge. All very helpful and nice on the phone. Fitter came today to fit carpet same fault he said "all the carpets he fits have that fault!!!" Told him to take it away.
Ordered carpet March not fitted till months after due to Covid understandable.
Just had phone call off SCS all carpets have fault when rolled and cut. Not as fitter said "it's the end of roll"
We now have been given two choices have replacement carpet fitted wait 12 weeks to see if line goes after hoovering then if not we get replacement carpet or turn down replacement carpet and make do with faulty carpet.
