We bought a 3 + 2 seater leather Lay-Z-Boy powered recliner set, delivered 1st February 2020. Quickly established a machanical fault with the 2 seater. Their technician came and confirmed that the whole action needed to be replaced in March 2020 as it had a manufacturing fault. Told not to use the sofa as the whole side has dropped and is pressed against the floor. They very quickly pointed out that as the fault has been reported more that 30 days from delivery, we cannot reject it. It is now October 2020, and they refuse to confirm when we can expect them to rectify the fault. We are using section 75 of the consumer credit act to either force them to rectify within 21 days, or come and collect the sofas and give us our money back. ScS customer services are the most woeful, frustrating and just plain ineffective "service" department we have ever dealt with.
