I will never buy an appliance from sears again!
My Kenmore refrigerator is less than 4 years old. The evaporator fans in the freezer went out. No problem, replace them right. NOPE! They are no longer manufactured. Sears can't/won't tell you if there is an aftermarket part that will fit. I hired an outside licensed professional and he cannot get the parts anywhere.
Sears will not actually tell you if your appliance is still under warranty. They require you to take an entire day off of work for their EIGHT-hour service window. They can't come out to look at your appliance for a week or more. I was told by the repair department they are the largest parts holder of appliance parts in the country, but they won't tell you if they have the parts. Their parts departments says they are no longer manufactured, and they do not have them. No one can tell me what happens if they can't get the unavailable parts.
Honestly it was the biggest run around I have ever gotten from any company ever.
