On 10/02/2024 Sears Technician, Broderick Smith came to diagnose one of my tenants range in which her oven was not working properly. The problem was identified which was the oven temperature sensor not working properly. The technician quoted me the price for the part & labor that would be $479.58. I paid him with a check and the check was funded. He said he would order the part and when the part arrived to schedule an appointment so a technician can come back and install the part. The part was ordered according to him but he entered the wrong address. I contacted Sears customer service numerous of times yo inform rhem that my service address was incorrect and they assured me they would make the correction. The part has been ordered 3 times and till this day I have not received the part. The part has been returned to the sender all three times. I have been calling and have been transferred from customer service, to parts, to scheduling, to speaking to a supervisor, but no one does nothing. Today is 11/05/2024 and I have not heard from anyone.
The technician Broderick Smith robbed me $479.58. I have No Part And I paid him for the Labor he did not do.
Sears Services is not what they used to be before. Do NOT use them. They are a SCAM. They do not grant you what you are owed or gave respect towards people. I know for a fact I eill NEVER use them again. Sears steals, lies, and do not promise what they say.
