I called to have my oven repaired. It's a Samsung so it has two way to heat. My family always uses the one because we never need the whole oven. It stopped working (won't go past 175). I called to have them fix it. The guy comes over says it's the pilot and it's a $700 repair. What? The part is only $200. So he was telling me he wanted to charge me $500 for the labor?! He told me no, it's because the part costs that much but he'll use a cheaper one from his van and make it a $500 repair. So not only did I pay for a Samsung pilot cost, but I didn't get that part, I got a cheaper one. BUT here's the kicker. That's not even what was wrong with the stove. I called because it's still not working. They send another technician out who says its the top pilot that needs to be repaired and I'd have to pay again for that. I was told because I already paid for this problem to be solved, I wouldn't have to pay again. It's not my fault the first guy fixed the wrong part. Why am I paying for another part and another job when the same problem wasn't fixed? He said just use the bottom part of the oven only then. Don't use Sears at this point. They want you to pay twice to fix one problem. The people on the phone though were wonderful. Still find a different company that's not trying to steal your money and not fix the problem.
