Distinctly disappointing service for a Mother’s Day delivery.
Whilst I was impressed with the commitment to delivery on Mother’s Day itself, the feedback from my mum was that the flowers looked battered. She wanted to give them a day of water ahead of casting judgment but was very unhappy with what she received and they had to be thrown out after 4 days.
The flowers were head-down in the box, based on the packaging orientation and looked to be very dry and damaged.
There was nowhere near enough life left in them for a bouquet of the cost. £2 Tulips from Tesco have lasted double the time already and look leagues nicer than what was shipped to my mum on Mother’s Day.
Seranata’s quality check period for resends and refunds is a measly 5 days. When I contacted after 8 days there was nothing I could do except “accept their apologies”, despite the flowers expecting to have a much longer shelf life than 8 days.
It’s very disappointing as a long-term customer of Serenata. I will think twice before ordering again.
