When I ordered online after entering my payment details the page didn’t appear to change & my order still looked as if it was pending. I tried to hit the back button & after entering details again the page looked the same however I noticed in small grey print at the top it had a confirmation order number. I then received 2 confirmation emails within a minute of each other but with 2 different confirmation numbers. I realised I had accidentally duplicated the order. I immediately looked for a way to cancel this but the website doesn’t allow you to do this. I hit the contact us button. It was an automated email message no telephone number to call. I explained in what had happened & asked for the duplicate order to be cancelled.
As I placed my order late in the evening I received no message until the following morning which advised me both orders had already been dispatched & there was no way to cancel. I asked if there was any way I could receive a refund or part refund but was refused, quoting that their confirmation emails were sent 5 minutes apart.
I was very disappointed & unhappy with this. Whilst I understand if the orders had both been dispatched there is no way to cancel. Firstly I did only receive both emails within 1 minute of each other as it’s time stamped on my emails. Secondly there is no way to cancel other than sending an email request which might not get picked up straight away which happened in this case. If there was at least a contact number to speak with someone I might have avoided being billed twice. Finally I’d advise the confirmation order be in bolder and larger print on the website as I barely saw this the second time round. Sadly I won’t be using this service again or recommend it to anyone.
