Swing is super well made. Lots of fun in the bedroom. My wife's a big fan and moved the Valentine's day present, though we still haven't figured out the right excuse for the eyehooks in our ceiling lol. If you're mounting on the ceiling I'd suggest 36 inches between mounting points, we went one more joist over around 48" and it's a little wider than needed. We just used two heavy duty eye hooks in the middle of two different ceiling joists, nothing to crazy. If you have a tall ceiling I suggest mounting first then if you need additional chain length you can get just what you need so you don't have excess chain rattling around. Only thing I wish they included was a suggestion of various arrangements and positions to try with the swing since I'm sure there's some more creative ways to use it that I'm not thinking of.
