I live in an apartment. Instructions clearly say how to buzz in and then to leave food at the apartment door. Tracker says the food was delivered, but no food. Even checked the front lobby because their lazy drivers have left it there before.
I get on the chat with them and tell them that I didn't receive my order. The only thing they offered was a refund. He said the driver confirmed the delivery so that's all he could offer. I told him "With all due respect, your driver is lying to you. Couldn't have got in without buzzing, didn't knock on the apartment door, and there was no food." He says he'll submit my complaint about the driver (not likely). At this point I was done with these guys, so I just asked for the refund. He tells me the refund has been processed. I asked if it was sent back to my original card and he says no. Because the driver confirmed the delivery (which they have no way of knowing if he's telling the truth) they can only provide the refund in credits.
What a broken system. You take my money for a service. You don't provide that service. You won't give my money back (except in credits for your services which I no longer want because of your broken system) based solely on the driver's word. Good riddance.
