I have done many orders with skip the dishes. Unfortunately the last order I placed the food was not edible and when talking with the restaurant they told me that since I ordered with skip i had to deal with them. The only way to reach skip is through online chat which is also fine. My problem is with the customer service when I asked for an explanation the customer service agent started behaving like I was being confrontational and would not explain anything he was stating they would not give me a full discount which I was absolutely fine with. I only wanted an explanation of how the amount he did tell me was calculated and when I asked for an explanation again he ended the chat abruptly. I then started a new chat and tried to explain what had just happened to a new customer service representative. Only to be left for about 3 to 4 minutes between responses and then an abrupt disconnect again. It has been several days since the incident but I believe I will no longer deal with skip as the Customer Service is pretty bad. Last note they did give me a $2.00 credit to my skip account on a $35.00 order that I put in the trash. I don’t even think that paid for the tip I left the driver. Thanks anyway I will be ordering strait from the restaurants from now on.

During these difficult times, it's deeply disappointing to see a major company like SkipTheDishes failing to pay its restaurant partners. This review serves as a warning to small businesses—or any business—considering using the SkipTheDishes platform. We went unpaid for four months. The assigned manager, Manveer, was unhelpful and unresponsive. She ignored multiple calls and refused to escalate the issue or allow another manager to step in and review our case. To this day, we are still owed money, and no one from the company has reached out to resolve the situation. I’m left with no choice but to leave this negative review in hopes of preventing other businesses from experiencing the same frustration. Proceed with caution if you're thinking about partnering with SkipTheDishes.

Please do not use this service! It's not what it once was. Terrible customer service, rude, ignorant, every order has some issue.Good luck on receiving a full refund! I wish there was a negative rating I could give, this company would receive a -10 /10.

Company going downhill fast. Used to be really good but now it’s not worth the wait, terrible customer service, and long delays. I think after years of giving them my money I am officially done

Long story short, Skip driver delivered my order to the wrong address (with picture proof), I suggest instead of the drivers just dumping orders outside on dirty sidewalks, they actually make contact with the customer. Skip refused to refund me the $54.65, I had to call my Credit card company for a stop payment. Apr 2, 2025 #686036961 $54.65

Skip the dishes messed up.. I picked up my order and let them know that that’s what I was doing. But apparently they didn’t answer me so this is what took place after I picked up my order.

On Feb 13 I had issue with delivery which the company has not addressed properly. I sent out email to them as well on Feb 15 and nobody responded. Today Feb 21 I have sent a follow up email. This company has made it difficult for consumer to address issues to their senior management. They mislead consumers as they do not give warnings when there will be delays. But there is no one to talk to.

You can no longer get hot or even warm food. Driver picks up order, usually long after restaurant has finished preparing. Then delivers to multiple locations before delivering your food. I only order food I want to eat at room temperature. No hot or frozen food. Which means I hardly order from SKIP. Like Uber Eats better. They allow you to pay a little extra for direct to you service.

Received a small portion of my order. When I attempted to be in touch with their customer service, I had two separate people who basically told me "too bad" and then left the conversation before I could even say anything. I've reported them to my bank as I am disputing the payment taken from my account for items which I did not receive.

Ordered thru SKIP with a restaurant in Regina. Tracked the delivery driver and they never showed. Phoned restaurant and order was cancelled because of no appetizer. Driver never came or called. Chatted 5 times with Skip. Said they'd fix it, never did. Today thru chat they said the order was delivered. Driver lied. SKIP said nothing they can do because their records say delivered. You have a problem SKIP. I have a doorbell cam. Nothing.

Ridiculous I ordered a pizza got a freezing cold pizza did not come in any bag whatsoever and all they gave me back was $7.50 this is how they compensate for what they do it'll be the last time I order from skip the dishes cost me $23 the delivery was almost that price

My order was supposed to be at my place before 12:30 but it came around 1:20! I tried to chat with a customer service representative to resolve the issue but she took so long and eventually ended the chat and left me there. It was a terrible experience. I should have ordered from Door Dash instead. It was a big mistake to go with Skip the Dishes.

This company use to be really good but has recently become the worst ever to order from. My last 3 orders have either taken 2-3 hours to get or been cancelled by them . I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy as they have the right to eat

We put 2 orders in, and they just decided to cancel one without contacting us... and refused to refund our order. What was supposed to be a nice christmas breakfast, turned into an absolute wreck.

Total BS , we call and order coffee and flatbreads frim Tim Hortons here in Winnipeg and you only deliver the coffee so we call Tim Hortons because you don't have a contact number and Tim Hortons says oh well , not our fault , order again so we are to pay twice as muchas anybody else pays for the same order?? Hire white GD Canadians who aren't GD thieves and get thingsw right !!

Delivery didn't show up and there was no photo provided, contacted customer support and and said I would not recieved a refund and agent left the chat without any explanation. Stick with Uber eats folks!!

Used to be a good place to drive for. Until they stopped replying to me. Feel awful but here is my experience... All I need was a return to reactivate my status... Paul Burns, CEO Skip the Dishes Suite 410, 242 Hargrave St. Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0T8 This is a simple reply that a courier agent or management should have answered to. I have no choice but to take this up as high as possible, even involving legal groups looking to empower thyselves and aligning driver advocates advocate groups, and of course Government and legal bodies that could use my help.... I am left because no one is getting back to me for a simple question. Please understand that I have had to reach out to you "skip the dishes" directly on numerous occasions but with no engagements, I've been forced to approach government agencies that have an immediate connection to worker rights with range from driving duration is inclement weather to unnecessarily driving shifts breaks. Please understand that the only reason that I have gone to this level of complaint is very simple. I have been trying to get an issue as a driver responded to but nobody feels it's necessary to reply. I guess this should help or I will begin to escalate as early as tomorrow. My background is a career in Sr. Manager copy lead for over 3 years. In November 2024, my cellphone fell down and found broken while working for skip the dishes shift. They revoked my account without any reason, only because I couldn't able to deliver my last order due to broken cellphone. During that time I was speaking with a courier manager and told her that my cellphone is broken and I could not able to deliver right now. And she replied that my account has been inactive now and they cut off permanently just one day later!!! I was inactive because of my cellphone broken while driving for Skip the dishes. Furthermore, I told my "friendly courier manager" I'd be back on the road within next day only once I replace it with my new cellphone. "She was clearly pleased and wished me the best for my upcoming driving.. No warnings about deactivation or revoked, no ability to have someone contact me, they knew I just bought a cellphone to deliver and now I'm being ghosted. That is not a good strategy. I will continue this daily to reach the correct person in the company, government, consumer advocate, and every other bureau to ensure my restoration... All this could have been avoided with one return email of activation of my account.
