They don't care..
about anything other than getting their money. Once they've done that, they're on to the next person. I ordered from Canadian brewhouse, through Skip the Dishes, and got the beef dip, fries and gravy. And the free item was fried pickles. When I got it and opened it up, it was all cold. All of it. I was hungry and it was late at night so I microwaved it and ate it. Right after that I just went through the app to let them know. Nobody was available to speak with so the automatic bot gave me the option to leave a message and someone would respond. Well nobody did for 2 days. So i emailed this time and told them everything. They responded with a condescending, "we feel terrible but since it was delivered on time, we're not able to refund you at this time. I actually didn't ask for a refund but a small credit or something would have been appreciated. Thinking back on it, the driver showed up with a ratty looking bag, not zipped up and that's why it was cold I'm guessing. They often do that. None of the drivers seem to care about what they're doing. And I tipped him without knowing all my food was cold. So i paid almost $40 total, for cold food we had to microwave. Imagine how that tasted being microwaved. I also wrote a second email explaining that it was most likely the bag and zero response. It's been a week and nothing. So we're deleting the app and never ordering through them again. Way too many mistakes and nobody cares to help. Horrible company and I hope people stop paying them for the the equally horrible service. At least keep your tips for the door in case they suck. Because you won't get it back even if you ask. I've seen drivers park literally in the middle of the road "because they couldn't see the sidewalk" they said. They've left food at my door without knocking, texting, calling..nothing.. and I sat there wondering where my food was,while it sat outside getting cold. I've had them buzz up and literally say to me," give me your number" buzz me up, man" (I'm female and sound female). They hire anyone and everyone who can speak a little English and has a car. They're taught NOTHING about customer service and have no idea how to treat people.
And if you complain more than 3 times they flag you as someone who complains too much and they cut you off and wont refund you anymore even though it's THEIR mistakes I'm complaining about. What a gross company. Never again! They're thieves and get away with it constantly.
