Funny story about their customer service. I recently bought two packages of socks and when I went to open the second one I found the security transponder (device) was still on one of the socks. I happened to be back near the Kenaston (Winnipeg) location so I took the single sock back in the store. As I didn’t keep the receipt , expecting not to return the socks, they told me I would have to wait half an hour or more for them to do a search and obtain my receipt before I could get my sock back. I thought it was there mistake that they didn’t remove it in the first place, and also could have pried it off and removed it myself, but I thought I was doing them a favour by bringing the device back. In the end I was out a lot of time or my sock and I chose the sock :). perhaps the feel shoplifters like bringing their product back in the front door to have the transponders removed? I attached my mobile visa transaction record (visa number excluded) in case there is any doubt.
