I ordered two pairs of trainers and paid extra for next day delivery on Sunday because I work all week and did not want the shoes left outside of my house. When they did not get delivered the next day, I contacted Sports Direct. They told me that the weekend falls into the holidays category, so the shoes were not eligible for next-day delivery. This was not at all clear on the site and I certainly would not have paid extra money for both shoes to be delivered next day if I had known that. When I asked for a refund on the shipping fee, they refused. My shoes were delivered at the end of the day on Monday. Also, VAT was included on top of the shoe price, so would have been cheaper to buy on Amazon or somewhere else. Will not be using them again.
