The manager of the READING shop insited my feet were the problem! he took shoes to front of shop laughed with employee and returned quote: nothing wrong we have measured and tested width!!! They would only give credit note and under no circumstances refund my cash paid. I add that the trainers were not worn other than to try at home due to the filthy floor in shop, receipt, label on trainers in tact. I explained the sale of goods act his reply..."either credit note or nothing" I had no choice but to accept. The Law: From 1 October 2015, under the Consumer Rights Act you have the right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described and get a full refund. But this right is limited to 30 days from the date you purchased the product. Sports Direct should explain to its management that the appraoch I received is unacceptable.
