Sports Direct *could* be the best sports shop in the UK, but for some reason, those in charge are determined to offer the worst customer service possible. Why?
If Sports Direct combined its huge range of products with great customer care, shoppers wouldn’t go anywhere else. However, with such abysmal care when things so wrong, it’s often more hassle than it’s worth to shop here. Slowly, more and more people are realising this and choosing to go elsewhere. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, or have any other problem with your order, that’s when you realise Sports Direct actively choose not to help, making it as difficult as possible for the customer to have their problem resolved. Of course, if you’ve no issues with the products you order, all appears well, it’s when things go wrong that the cracks are all too apparent. Sports Direct charges for delivery, no exceptions, and they charge for returns, but yet it offers a substandard service when their are problems with orders, customers deserve better.
So, why have they not improved customer care? A quick glance through the reviews here clearly demonstrate that things simply aren’t good enough and customers are unhappy. One can only assume that as part of the Frasers Group, those in charge, namely, owner Mike Ashley, CEO Michael Murray and MD of Sports Ger Wright, have a disregard for their customers, they just do not care about customer satisfaction. It’s such a shame, Sports Direct could do so much better but chooses not to.
