AVOID! I emailed Stacees prior to buying my wedding dress because I was between sizes and wasn’t sure which size would suit. I wanted to know if they had a UK return address to save on return shipping if I needed to. I was told they had “offices in the UK” and it wouldn’t be a problem to order two and return one. In the end, I went with just one dress. It arrived a few weeks later and I was SO disappointed. It looked NOTHING like the picture! The colour was off, the material was cheap and nasty and there was all this awful netting that the advertisement photo just didn’t have. The fit was atrocious. I absolutely hated it. I later found out they steal legit designers photos and make bad copies. I contacted Stacees to arrange a return and went round in circles with them trying to get me to accept a partial refund. I didnt want a partial refund, I wanted a full refund on return (what am I going to do with a spare wedding dress? It’s not like I’m ever getting married again!). In the end, they told me they wouldn’t accept a return unless it was damaged! Tried to make out it was “custom made” when it wasn’t - I never provided any measurements (they charge more for that!). Basically, after doing some research, I realised they’re a scammy Chinese company that don’t adhere to distance selling laws. Avoid. Don’t take the risk. They might be cheap, but that’s for a reason. Cheap and nasty 🤮 I’ve now been conned out of £400 and looking in to how I can take this further. Hopefully PayPal or my bank may be of assistance.
