They sell licenses that can, quite literally, be used only once. Not one license that's transferable to be installed and used on another device. Installed and activated just once! When that device becomes antiquated/lost/sold or for any other reason unusable, that license cannot be recovered and transferred anywhere. It's gone.

and
"One-time purchase installed on 1 Windows PC for use at home or work"
Is very misleading, deceitful and shady.
A "Lifetime license" is for the lifetime of the device. Not the software.
Buyer beware.
