Hi there - sorry for the delay. The light arrived promptly and in perfect condition - thank you. The issue is that we are trying to mount this in our kitchen and the base plate is too small. We took the old fixture down, but the plate to attach the light to is not wide enough to accommodate the gap used for our standard electrical box. See pictures. Do you guys have a solution? Like a wider dimension plate or something that would fit between the plate and the ceiling? If not, I am going to have to return the light, which would be a drag because we really like it.
