This must be the worst customer service out there. We initially tried to inform TalkTalk of our home move via the website. This did not work so decided to try via live chat. We gave the dates to the member of staff who incorrectly keyed our move out date to the month before. Within 10 minutes our internet was switched off.
We have called to inform them of their mistake and so they could switch the internet back on, we were passed to around 10 different advisors. Asked the same questions over and over again. Not a single one cared about the issue. Dropping the call on us mid conversation.
we were then told the internet could not be switched back on. This went even further to TalkTalk saying “could you find other internet for a couple of week?”
This is beyond disgusting as this was no fault of our own. Asking paying customers to find different internet when they have caused you the problem.
When we have asked to be put through to the complaint team they have stated there isn’t one. The issues gets passed to a supervisor who will give us a call back in 24 hours. Even though the advisor was speaking to the supervisor they would not pass the phone to them there and then. Have we received a call back? NO
This is TalkTalks fault and we have been left without internet for 2 weeks until we move. We have to work from home and now can’t do our job because of a mistake on their end that they refuse to resolve. Absolutely disgusting service
