Worst broadband experience of my life – avoid at all costs
I have been a loyal paying customer of TalkTalk, and without any warning, notice, or request from me, my broadband was completely cut off. One day I had internet, the next day I didn’t – and nobody at TalkTalk could give me a clear explanation. They admitted they had “no record” of another provider taking over the line, yet my service was gone.
To make matters worse, instead of admitting fault and restoring my service, they demanded £153 in early termination fees – for a cancellation I never requested and never agreed to. This is nothing short of outrageous.
Over several calls, I was met with robotic, scripted answers, no accountability, and no urgency to resolve the situation. They treated me as if I was the problem, ignoring all evidence and the simple fact that I had been left without essential internet service for days.
This is the kind of customer service that drives people away forever. Disorganised, careless, and with zero regard for the customer’s actual experience. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favour and stay far away from TalkTalk. I would give zero stars if I could.
