I have had a long running dispute with TalkTalk since I left my wife in 2014. Because she continued to live in the property we lived in together when married and I was no longer able to enjoy the phone and internet services they provide I followed their official procedure to transfer the account to my ex wife.
Legally that was the end of the matter so far as I was concerned and I have no further responsibility for the account.
Nevertheless TalkTalk have periodically sent me letters from debt collection agencies and I have had another one today from some outfit based in Stockport for £1127.24. Once again I will be writing to them advising them to refer to their client, asking them not to waste their time, because they will not be getting a penny piece from me.
