I purchased a pair of sandals in June and I love them so much I decided to try a pair of canvas tennis shoe (1st pair) and they were too tight (they didn't come in wide). I was able to exchange them and I decided to get another pair of sandals (different style) and pay the difference. Again, I loved the sandals, but I thought I would give the canvas shoe another try when I wen to order again. Unfortunately, again I had bad luck with the size and fit. I was only able to exchange them for a larger size, so I thought I would give it a try. Well, they were too big and when I tried to see about exchanging them for another pair of sandals and offered to pay the difference, I was told I couldn't exchange them because it was a final sale (well the first pair of canvas was a final sale, too). I explained that to the customer service representative. She asked management and they still denied the exchange.
Disappointed with having a pair of shoes I can't wear and not being offered to exchange for something worth what I've paid, if not even more because I was willing to pay. So, I will not be purchasing from Taos any more. Just sharing my story, for anyone hesitant to purchase shoes online. I was worried this may happened and debated ordering online. At least I have two pairs of sandals I love, but they will not get my hard working money, since they weren't willing to exchange a pair that didn't fit me. Poor customer service and no way to grow an company (since this was the excuse they gave me as to why they couldn't exchange, if that's true why did they do it the 1st time with a final sale product?)!
