I had car insurance from Tesco. No issues with the service or product but when they quoted me a renewal, it was more than the previous year. I had no claims during the year. I don't like this practice of fleecing existing customers with an auto-renewal at a higher price. Further, confused.com provided me a quote from Tesco at 30% less than their quote. When I called to tell them I would not be renewing they were asking for that price with a view to matching it! If that is the best price you can offer me, then offer it to me! Don't make me do the work for you. In the end I went with a different insurer who quoted me a price half of Tescos.
