Ordered online delivery for convenience
The bag of carrots with a sell by date of 4th May was rotten to the core.
The root ends were mouldy.
Contacted online, after talking to some robot which asked for my email address, name , home address 3 times, I was at last put to a human.
I was told a refund for those carrots would be credited and a miserable £3 compensation voucher.
To me, it’s pathetic to be charged delivery fee which means I still have to go to the shop and get a new bag of carrots.
And because I was not expecting a bag of rotten carrots, it means my dinner had become more a nuisance than a romantic dinner.
All I was compensated for this inconvenience was £3 to be used for their online delivery again.
What a joke.
