I used the Tesco grocery home delivery service for the first time this week, this was for delivery at my mother-in-laws home in West Ogwell, Newton Abbot. She suffers from hearing issues and demenia and did not answer the door to accept the delivery. Matthew the delivery driver went above and beyond to make sure the delivery finally got to her. We live in Surrey, 120 miles away but he called my mobile several times to devise a plan. After dropping all his deliveries he returned to my mother-in-law's address and with the help of a neighbour and carer made sure the drop was made. I cannot praise this tenacious man enough, above and beyond where many others would have returned to base with the shopping.
