I've had a great time teaching in France so far. The staff at the school are very kind and welcoming, and the students are eager to learn. The family I'm staying with is also very gracious, and we've shared a lot of laughs together. I suppose my only issue would be that occasionally it is difficult to know what is expected of me in the course of a school day. Sometimes the teachers don't know what to do with me. The advice I would give anyone wanting to do this program is LEARN FRENCH. The French as you might know are not known for their English skills, and I found knowing the language to be indispensable in helping to clarify things and get properly oriented.
