After being lied to about this service being Canadian Government recommended, told to lie about my drug and alcohol history on my application, coerced and not even informed that this service wasn't refundable I made the foolish decision pushed in the late evening on the phone by a man named Jordan to buy this service after feeling comfortable with the nice conversation, and apologies he offered me about surviving cancer. However immediately after booking and hanging up I had a bad feeling, my mother and I looked into the company further and all I saw was disgusting reviews. Immediately, I wanted out. Only to discover they've tried to keep me trapped in every step of the way, Jordan refusing to even inform me cancelation was possible and after being ignored all day and calling the emergency line the only kind member of staff told me I could cancel. Right now, I'm on the phone with the dispute team of my bank. Next is the better business bureau. One of the first things I saw after realizing my mistake with picking this company was the statement "There are better companies". This couldn't be more true. If you're considering Global Work and Travel, remember first how they've taken $500 from a 19 year old cancer survivor and reconsider. They won't even call me back.
