Hey all - ordered 5 1-lb bags of whole frozen green chiles and 5 1-lb bags of chopped red/green frozen. I've only used one bag of green so far, but they definitely thawed all the way during shipping. Put them in the freezer immediately upon receipt, but the damage was done. Used them in green chile stew and on pizza - they have lost a lot of flavor and the texture is pretty dry. The chopped looked much more frozen when they arrived - haven't tried them yet. Fingers crossed. Maybe additional cold packs or more insulation would have helped - I've never ordered frozen before.
