I specifically ordered *hot* chiles and they were! This had the advantage that I was not obliged to share them with anyone and had them all to myself. So far I have made a green-chile stew and it is spectacular. More chiles remain in my freezer. The chiles had to be shipped to me from Hatch NM to Seattle WA and they were packed with extraordinary care; they arrived still frozen, even though there was a weekend somewhere en route.
