Bought a Oneway Multigauge for setting the knives on a recently purchased planer thicknesser - the Multigauge is a well made item (made in Canada) and functions exactly as it should. However, unfortunately the the infeed and outfeed tables on my particular planer thicnesser have not been accurately ground flat, meaning that the the Mulitigauge has nothing accurate to reference from. This is not a fault of the Multigauge, but if you're considering buying it for setting planer thicknesser knives, it's worth checking first that the outfeed table has been correctly ground flat. The price of the gauge was very high, but Toolpost appears to be the only company in the UK that sells it and I guess the import costs have to be factored into the price. Delivery from Toolpost was very swift, and I'd be happy to use them again.
