“I'd took more than a3hour round trip to visit this shop, I'd been House bound for many weeks due to illness... I was very excited to make purchase for my new venture...wood/pen.turningetc. after a bit of browsing I'd put aside several Hundred £££worth of goods.asking for 1 more item, a turning smock..the man went off on one,a hell of a rant!!!like I was asking for a gift!!!..whining about his ageing 2years old car!!(My Van was 17 years old at the time...)...on checking my goods against the receipt at home, he'd charged me £3for a magazine he said was a freebie!,After emailing he said if I buy a lathe he'll Knock £3off!!!.. I'd noticed in the shop too that a man in his 70s,walking his dad (in his 90s)around the shop..that Peter was rude about their simple enquiry..They walked out quite upset!!.. I'm glad they're shut down, the owner was a chuffin arsenal hole. Worst customer service in all my horn days.. Very obnoxious man that owner....”

“Thank you for your fast service, Toolpost. I didn't expect to receive my gauge so soon. ( so I missed that information) I ordered it yesterday, and I had an email and a text this morning, giving me an hour delivery slot. It came within the hour, actually at the beginning which was good. I am disappointed that I ordered a veiner by mistake instead of a "V" tool. I will have to order again.”

“I can highly recommend Toolpost for their efficiency prompt service and reasonable prices. I ordered my turning blanks one day and they were delivered the next as promised. Doesn't get any better than that”

Hi Arthur. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings here following our echange of calls and emails in early March which clearly stated, I quote "I recently ordered some goods from you which I rec'd yesterday. I observed that the packaging was perfect ,the goods were good and the service received by phone from your staff member was perfect" I think for some context, the subsequent exchange between us was mostly based on your search for discounted goods/consumables from us as a retailer as you had previously received and searched for discounts from others in the industry and didn't want to go back to them taking advantage. However I did at length cover the relaities of the diofferences between manufacturers and retailers and our abilities to offer discounts based on those respective margins. In turn I encouraged you to formalise a relationship with manufacturers to support your endeavors. I appreciate this may not be the outcome you wanted, however I don't believe this can be preceived as being poorly treated, simply not receiving the outcome you desired at our expense as a business. Sorry you felt suffieicenly agrieved to feel the need to write here, but I hope you have found someone whom can accomodate your needs elsewhere, where we couldn't.
