The parcel was left on the top of a car on the driveway to our house. My son found it about 9:00pm that evening it had been delivered earlier on that day. Emailed ToolPost to complain and got this response:
‘am appalled to read this email and can only apologise on their behalf – at a certain point we have to trust other companies to do their jobs well, sadly they have clearly not done this.
We have passed this onto the team at CSM to pick up with Hermes. We are actually in the midst of changing suppliers, hopefully to DPD in the next month or so…
Again, please accept my apologies for their poor service, indeed it does not reflect well on us, yet we have no means to have any control of them – such is the challenge of mail-order.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.’
