Tried to return a Christmas advent truck with individual drawers. One drawer was glued shut so when I tried to open it the door came off and drawer is stil wedged tight. Also realised there is no number 19 and two no 23's. Quite comical but pretty useless as an advent. Took it back as faulty for a refund. Advised it was out of the Christmas returns dates. I explained that shouldn't apply as faulty and the delay was also due to lockdown. However the manager said they could not say it had not happened since I left the store and they wouldn't be able to check the CCTV now to confirm this. Unless my painting skills are pretty damn good to change the numbers and make them match I was pretty disgusted at being accused of doing it at home and glueing a drawer shut is also quite extreme. I could have understood a dent but these are obvious factory issues. I cannot believe they check CCTV for the condition items were sold in and unless they are ultra HD im not sure the tiny numbers on the advent truck would even be visible on CCTV. Refused a refund! Awful customer service
