I had the misfortune to visit the brand new Range store in Weymouth on Sunday. The store is huge and lovely but that's where the good part ends, the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I visited with my daughter and her baby plus her toddler. We were greeted by a man who said welcome, we needed a trolley but had no pound coin, we asked him to exchange change for a coin but he said he wasn't allowed so we had to ask other customers. We then shopped and paid, my daughter spent £346 so we had a lot of shopping, there is no car park attached so we went to take the trolley to the car, it stopped at the door. I asked if there was a pick up bay as we had a pram, a toddler and all of the shopping, no we were not allowed to use the pick up area as we hadn't bought furniture. a supervisor was called to help us, she suggested we took the shopping in batches back to car using the pram as a trolley!!! she said she would look after the shopping whilst we did this and it was safe with her! on my second trip back she had left our paid for shopping by a window and other assistants had added to it thinking it was for returns! I moved added items, on my fourth trip back more returns in there. I saw a manager and spoke to him expressing my disappointment in the lack of help, his response was he was sorry but as I didn't know the persons name he couldn't do much other than mention it in team brief the next day! Still no offer of help back to the car. Never again, totally disgusting. Be warned if you need a lot of shopping don't go there!
