coming into the range Corby, to be standing at the customer service till freezing whilst being served. I am entering the shop seeing workers standing next to your main entrance freezing and getting visibly ill from this. Seeing your staff having to wear OUTDOOR PPE to be working indoors, seeing them with hand warmers and gloves on and having them completely lose sensation in their body to be able to complete their job role to the best of their ability.
It’s a complete lack of care and consideration for your staff, considering we’re in the middle of winter and this is quite often in the evening time when it is at its coldest. Not to mention I am seeing staff walking round with a security badge on when they are visibly not trained in a security role, it’s a disgusting lack of health and safety and you should be ashamed of yourself as a company. Not to mention, how dangerous it is for you to be telling your staff they are the ones that have to confront people stealing, this is a small town, people know people and it is not fair for you to tell your staff to RISK their safety and lives for something that is NOT their job. I never see any managers on the shop floor at all, I am beginning to wonder if there is even any managers in the Corby store at all?
The amount of times I’ve witnessed people being called on the mic to help at a till when there is lines of people blocking exits and entrances, then nobody turns up to help. This is just the start of the problems, I’ve seen much more happening here, and heard much more too.
