I was returning a small dog jacket which was too small and there was dog hair on the jacket as we had tried it on the dog for size for all of two seconds but the dogs a terrier and full of hair loss. The customer care assistant said we needed to clean it and then return it. We did that ( it only took a few mins) and we returned to the counter. The customer service lady who we had originally spoken with and who was slightly passive aggressive first time around didn’t seem overjoyed with our return. She checked the jacket and found none of the hair that was her original issue on the jacket and she then remarked that it seemed to have been worn I pointed out that it didn’t fit the dog and that was why we were exchanging for the bigger jacket. She then complained about the paper tag on the dog jacket and said we ought not have pulled it off I explained that we hadn’t it was attached by the strap when we bought it and as it now was. She reluctantly made the exchange. As I went to lift the larger dog jacket having paid the 2euro difference the customer care assistant said in an extremely aggressive and sarcastic manner “ I must get you to the sign this” her whole attitude was appalling!!!! I asked to speak with a manager and she said “ So you want a manager” , I said “Yes” and she called one. I was so angry I was shaking and I am not sure I conveyed what had transpired properly. This woman is not good for business I won’t go back to the range because of her attitude and the man who was angry with the same employee before me ( another customer) told us outside the shop that he won’t either. You can do your job but don’t treat people with as if they are crooks trying to hoodwink it’s a shop things may need to be returned from time to time it’s not a crime theirs no need to be a bully.
