My wife bought two bags of compost which seemed heavy at the time.On returning home the reason was that the compost was saturated and it was possible to squeeze out the water in your hand.By this time store was closed due to corona virus so contacted customer services who asked for a photo and receipt.Despite providing all the required info they said the compost looked ok and take it back to shop.
Contacted the compost maker with a copy of the bar code who who confirmed the compost should not have been sold to me.We are talking about £12 ! here.
Gave up in the end.
Will never visit any of their stores again - very short sighted The Range.
Given the number of complaints about them it does appear there is something seriously wrong with their customer services and general organisation.
I don't think it's accidental they just don't care.
