I visited my local store yesterday to return a faulty photo frame with the receipt. It was purchased five weeks ago. I was told that as it had passed the 30 day return policy that I would only be entitled to an exchange. I explained its faulty not that I have changed my mind so therefor I am entitled to a refund. The store manager was called and basically said that he believed I have broken it. The item was £3.50 for goodness sake! I mean to be accused of breaking an item that there is no way he could prove is disgusting. I have never been treated with such disrespect my whole life! It has not become a principal thing. I contacting head office to explain what has happened and I was basically told whatever the store manager says goes. I mean have they read the consumer rights act?! Was then told my best bet was to take to a different store. Ok I will drive all around Bristol spending more in fuel than the item actually cost. Disgusting behaviour and even more shocking head office!
