I have resistant grey hair and have been getting the roots coloured every 3 weeks in a salon for over 20 years. I stumbled across ‘The Shade’ and after reading the reviews I thought I would give it a try. My partner painted the colour into just my roots, all over, and we didn’t take the colour through to the ends. I left the colour on for the time specified, including 10 extra minutes for my resistant greys. This is the same time as the salon left it for. The results are amazing. The colour covered all the regrowth, and it looks like I had it done in a salon! I will continue to use The Shade to colour my hair, as it’s so easy to do from home and conveniently arrives in time for the next application. I used Genoa 6 Light Brown, and for my next application I’ll be trying Montecristo 6.1 Light Ash Brown, just so I can see the difference, and then I’ll settle on a regular colour.
